She is known in the country as the daughter of General Bipin Rawat, who served as the Chief of Defence Staff. On the other hand, her mother, Madhulika Rawat, was serving the position of president of the Army Women Welfare Association. 

According to the reports, both Bipin Rawat and Madhulika Rawat were passed away on 08 December 2021 (Wednesday). Reportedly, they were traveling to the Defence Services Staff College along with other 12 officers and passengers. The helicopter was crashed near Coonoor in Tamil Nadu and all the passengers died except the pilot.

On 8 December 2021 (Wednesday), Bipin Rawat and Madhulika Rawat were passed away in a helicopter crash accident. They were traveling from Sulur airbase to the Defence Services Staff College. The two were accompanied by 8 other officers and 4 crew members. 

On the way, their helicopter was crashed into a tree ad caught fire. As per the reports, the helicopter was crashed due to fog in the environment. Unfortunately, 13 people out of 14 died in the accident and the survived one is in critical condition.
